The new skirt looks like something you’d see on a Barbie Doll and is a complete deal killer. There’s been no fabric on any piece in the line before this so it sticks out like a sore thumb IMO. Portrait on the other hand has been improved but the cleaned up outfit takes the detail down a notch.

I actually like the paler skin tone of the prototype over this new showing...that goes for the face too. Face of the prototype looked of Russian decent or some European decent. Original and very different from the other faces. The new face...man I don't know. Its nice, but nowhere near as nice as the original. You're right about the skirt. The sculpted one looked like it was apart of the statue...like a piece of art that belonged. The new media skirt looks like a cheap fix because the original one broke. I also agree about the weathering and dirt effects. They need to be included on this updated version.

I think it is important to note, the original is a photo taken at a show, and the colours are less saturated than image of the update. This applies to the whole statue, not just the skin tone. While agree with the new skirt looking cheap, the portrait looks prettier.

Right image saturation lowered to match left image.

I've been taking a look at the original more, and the penny dropped
- i think the purple skirt just might not be solid material as assumed, as on closer inspection, it appears to be made from fabric.
Can anyone confirm or deny this who has seen it in person at a show?

Something else, i've only just spotted. The newer Fireball has an earring in her left ear.

I saw her at comicon the first year they were revealed and while I’m not sure if it was sculpted or fabric, I am sure that the original skirt, face sculpt and jacket weathering look WAY better than the newer version.

They seem to be working for Diamond now, doing the sculpt for the Marvel Gallery pieces.

I just wish they would finish this piece and put it up already. Jeez, ARH and PCS are faster than this company and that is baaaaddddd.

No interest in this line, but I have to say that "new" Fireball with the fabric skirt is a huge step down. The original looked perfect, and this new skirt makes it look incredibly cheap.

At this point, I doubt I would order this statue as we have waited a ridiculously long time for Fireball. The elimination of the transparent resin tutu and weathering is an obvious attempt to reduce production costs. The face change I am guessing was done for mass appeal. I still prefer the latina look of the original along with the oriignal tutu and weathering.

If GG was going to change something, change her firearm to something like a submachine gun such as P90. They used the same digital sculpt for the M4 on Sweet Pea, Black Widow and Maggie, all of which I own. Is it that hard to make or buy a digital sculpt of a gun?

If they keep the new face sculpt and tutu, at least add back the weathering and change the gun. And an additional note, she shouldn’t have her finger on the trigger. A person trained in firearm handling wouldn’t do that.

A P90 would add something different for this line.

GG should sell honey trap to a company that still makes 1/4. Imagine if xm, ss or iron studios did something like Honey Trap. They would sell like crazy
