Yeah, they were made by CS Moore and didn't turn out very well. CS Moore has made a few pieces I like, including my Bronze Fathom which is brilliant, but all in all I don't think their quality is that great. Would love to see another studio take a crack at them.

CS Moore version are decent, but something just feels off about them... plus I don't think they're 1:4 scale.

The Grimm Fairy Tales characters are a good and obvious choice for bishoujo-style statues. Surprised Koto didn't try to acquire the rights for this.
