For me it was a no brainer....even if i lost the $150 at P1 and reordered at SSC i know my shipping total will be way less than the $800 P1 wants....thats like instant cash back in my bank account

Not sure if it helps, but I live in SoCal and Sideshow charges me a little over $100 for in-stock Prime 1 pieces. If I were in your situation and Prime 1 charged $500 for shipping, losing the NRD and switching to Sideshow would still save $250.
If it were $800 like thecollector80's shipping charge, eve more reason to switch.

Yep....no kidding bros....heres the proof.....and its only for standard shipping not express or expedited....so you see even loosing the $150 NRD to reorder still equals me saving a lot in the end

Wow, F that! I just went ahead and cancelled a bunch of orders with P1 because im anticipating the shipping rates to keep skyrocketing. Only ones im keeping right now are the new Arkham Harley and Katana. Both have quoted shipping rates of $120 but i dont believe it will be possible.

For me the shipping is increasing from the quoted $150 to $330, an increase of $180, so if I canceled my order and Sideshow only charged $100, I'd be getting $230 back but then immediately losing $150 of that due to the NRD, so if my math is right I'd be saving $80 (potentially $130 I guess if I use my $50 of Sideshow Rewards credit).
I sent Sideshow a message, I want to be pretty sure I'm not going to get ----ed on shipping by them too before I try and jump ship.

Will P1 not refund the deposit in this situation? I know Sideshow has in the past when something ends up much higher ship cost than expected.

Everyone check the bottom of your emails from Prime 1. I went ahead and purchased through SS and canceled my order with Prime 1 as it states at the bottom; "If you are not satisfied with the above shipping fee, please let us know by replying this e-mail. We will be able to:
hold your order for the time being and wait until the shipping cost is decreased again.
cancel and refund the full amount including the Non-Refundable Deposit
change the shipping method to economy (for US customers only)
"
I spoke to a SS customer service rep and was told the statue dimensions were similar to the Prime 1 Poison Ivy which is currently shipping for $90 and they expect Red Sonja to ship close to that. Not sure if it works out better for the international people.
