I thought Bane was the KGBeast the first time I saw him.

I think Bane would have a slight advantage over the KGBeast in close quarters.

Actually I heard that Bane was created to be a replacement for KGBeast after the fall of the Soviet Union. Obviously KGBeast was still kept around until he was killed in Face the Face storyline, but he was a second tier villain after Soviet Union. Too bad, i loved Ten Nights of the Beast, and thought he was such a badass. I vote for Bane however.
