For my taste, it's one of the best Deadpool statues I've seen. The price makes it an even easier piece to pre order. The only Deadpool statues I've had in my collection are GGs Vespa, Kotos X Force, Bowens Sosa, & Bowens K Bros. I like GGs Vespa, but as a whole, Bowens K Bros statue might be the best looking overall, & I feel this new Koto might be on par with that in the looks department. Well, the proto anyway.
Yes, it's PVC.

You don't have to worry too much about the final product, most of Koto's ARTFX statues look just as nice as the prototypes.

Agreed on the base. I like the sculpt and pose is good, but that base just has to go. Just to high for nothing much going on. This could have been done on a smaller ledge.

Good to know, because the proto looks mint. From memory, I can't think of any other Marvel ArtFX 1/6 piece. Is this the 1st? I know there's the DC line, but didn't get into those. I can get excited for a 1/6 Marvel line, that looks this good, & is much easier on the wallet, than what I'm used to for 1/6.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

They made an Avengers movie Iron Man ARTFX before. It's the only Marvel ARTFX they made IIRC.

1/6 Marvel ARTFX made of PVC + ABS have been based on movie Spider-Men, Venom, Iron Men, & War Machine Mk. II so far.

Well, it looks like this is going to be my main Deadpool piece since Sideshow is charging way too much for their new PF.

Yeah, that's too much of a price jump. Didn't even have time to get used to their $500+ pricing

I'm happy they got their action Spidey PF out before pricing got too ridiculous.

After market pricing is going to be scary for some pieces .....

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I like the idea though...ie multiple options

positives = sculpt looks great, detail great, price great (for a 1:6 Marvel statue!)

negative = base and pose. It would be cool if he was shooting at something at least.

still on the fence on this...

Here are other pictures:

Seen this at LCS. Deadpool looks great, actually very very good...Just such an odd base.

Not a bad piece for only the hardcore Deadpool fanatics.
