I was thinking this would come out fairly quickly being most of it already existed.
I was going to go sell my OG but I think I'll hold off for awhile.
I can't be Batmanless till then

Damnit.
This is kind of where I am at. I love OG blue Batman but I have enough issues with the original sculpt that I can't justify owning it twice myself.

A re-engineering of the neck (however unlikely), wired cloth cape or, at a minimum, new base may have made the decision more difficult but $430 is a lot to spend on what equates to a gorgeous (personal favorite of the 3), head sculpt.

I consider the Black and Grey Batman that SS did to be Modern. It's actually from after "No Man's Land" in 2000. In "NML" Batman switched to the pouch belt. When that story ended he ditched the yellow symbol for the old school style plain Bat logo but the cape and cowl was either blue, black, or some mix. I think it wasn't until Superman/Batman #1 in the early 2000s that the black/plain bat logo/pouch belt combination was used consistently.

The costume has its basis from the Batman Year One storyline in the late 80s which introduced the pouch belt.

Golden Age Batman used Black (and also blue) but always had the same belt as the "Modern Age" belt, except with a circular belt buckle. He also had purple and then blue gloves. The ears were shaped different and he often had either a winged or partially winged cape. He looked a bit closer to a bat.

Yes, I am a nerd. Lol.

Kevin is right; this statue is oddly named because the original PF is more "modern" as Peedi just posted, and this blue/grey with the yellow belt was conceived in the SA, when the Batman books took a drastic turn from the 1950s and ealy 1960s silliness towards what we recognize as Batman today. It's "modern" if we take modern to mean 1966-2000.

You can see the drastic turn from one month to the next, not just with the costume, but with the style/tone:

Getting progressively darker and more realistic until Adams started doing the art in 1970:
