I was skeptical about Bernthal as well, but he won me over with the sheer hardwork and honesty he brought to his performance. I do agree that the Punisher should be physically intimidating, like Ray Stevenson in War Zone, and I won't be mad if they recast for the movies. But if anyone deserves to be bought in the movies from shows, it's Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal.
