I think people are taking the figure too literally. I don't want a statue of the exact figure, but rather a complex Freeze suit with armor and definition, something that he would feasibly go into battle with...not a guy with tights, belt and dome.

i'm done on the subject. This was the ONE statue I was looking forward to in the line and if it looks like the other two images I'm absolutely not buying and possibly out of the line all together. It won't be the first time I abandoned a line due to art direction.

So essentially you're saying it's your choice or nothing at all? No one can engage in a perfectly innocent online forum poll? How do you know that the updated version won't fit in with the aesthetic you envisioned. Shogun right now it seems you are have a little bit of a tantrum. It'll be okay as I highly doubt that this is the ONE statue that you were looking forward to. I've had many of those ONE statues I was looking forward to myself.

here's my perspective...of all the possible DC statues, this was the one statue I was looking forward to in the ENTIRE LINE. for me this is the SILVER TUNA.

I'm fine with people engaging with different opinions, but they must be able to take my opinion in stride as well.

I don't know what the "updated" version will look like, but from the sounds of it, it doesn't sound like something i'd be interested in owning.

Tantrum, frustration...yes. I thought I was going to be collecting cool timeless definitive versions of these characters. Not BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES versions. so yes, it's very frustrating.

Truth is, I think the TWO GREATEST Superheroes in the DC and Marvel universes are Batman and Superman. FOR ME, The rest of the DC superheroes characters for me are a bunch of nobodies, passable characters aside from Flash and one or two others. I'm not into collecting female superheroes and I don't care about rounding out my collection with the B, C & D-lister DC characters that I don't have room to display characters that my fellow forum members liked in issue #394.

To conclude, I only care about purchasing Batman, Robin and their villains. As I said earlier Freeze was the Silver Tuna the character I was most excited about owning. So yes, I am frustrated to hear that the #1 Character I was most excited to own may turn out to be a version that I don't want to pay for....that changes things.

Well none of this is set in stone and if it's one thing I've learned in my over fifty years on the earth is that your cannot get worked up about something that hasn't happened. You have a voice too and you are making it heard.

And there you go inciting the mob by talking about the rest of the DC universe that may be just as important to them as Supes and Bats is to you. We're all collector geeks here and all like who we like.

I am not a fan of the BTAS Freeze either.

Also I have absolutely no idea what you mean by Silver Tuna?!

The designs for the original Super Powers Freeze and the TAS Freeze are pretty similar in basic design. TAS took the other one and just streamlined it. I'm sure the artist could meet both designs in the middle to make something fans of both could enjoy and appreciate.

i think taking the best features from both costumes and blending them into the definitive Freeze statue sounds like a splendid idea.

It really needs to be options 1 or 2 to be accurate. It shouldn't be Animated Series and it shouldn't be something made up that's never even appeared in a comic. What's the point of that?

It’s something similar to BTAS version (it doesn’t have to be exactly the same) or none for me. I really can’t take him seriously with option 1 & 2. There is a reason why BTAS version stuck and the modern comic Mr. freeze after that has similar look to BTAS. It’s his iconic look. I just really want him with pale-blue skin, red goggles, and round dome on his head. Either than that variation with his suit doesn't matter to me.
