Sounds like you dug it a lot...is this worthy of a first day purchase, and do you see this getting multiple views from you?

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

I can't speak for Scott, but for myself the answer is yes. Having said that, this is a very divisive film, people either love it or hate it, no inbetweeners on this one. My advice to you is that you rent it first. If you like Sci-Fi and the Alien universe and more specifically the 1st film you're on the right track. Now, if you like movies that leave you thinking about them after you've watched them, ones that don't give you answers to everything and tie everything up in a neat little bow by the end, well then this is the movie for you. On top of all that the effects and score are top notch. The film is not perfect by any means, but there is plenty to make up for any of its shortcomings IMO.

For me, both. Don't take my word for it though, opinions seem pretty divided over this film. It poses a lot of questions and makes you think about it in depth after seeing it and I love that. One of my favorite films of the year.

I think you safely could considering we generally see eye to eye on most films.
