10K was the early bird price. It went up after that to 12K for the rest of the preorder window, then $14k for waitlist people once that closed. None of those figures include tax or the over 1K ship cost.

I heard there was an overall loss on this piece. Price hiked to mitigate it a bit.

Probably harder to do than they initially thought with the chrome failure rates.

The chrome finish does look incredible. Hope I get the lucky chance to see this one in person sometime in the future.
