Should I
A: Shoot myself in the left hand
B: Shoot myselff in the right hand
C: Try and find someone to shoot me instead
D: Keep trying until I can atleast sculpt a stick man

Freaking super sculpty....whats so super about it

I am waiting until I get all of the 'crap' out of my system before I start posting WIPs

I would say go for 'D'. Keep playing with it, eventually it won't be as frustrating...

Don't get discouraged. Not only does it take a lot of talent, but it also takes a lot of practice. I've tried myself so I know how difficult it is.

...but if you really want someone to shoot you let me know.

I would say go with ultra secret option

E: Don't sweat it... every piece is a learning experience and almost every sculptor you talk to will tell you that their first few pieces weren't all that. Keep going...

The first piece I ever sculpted and showed to my then Boss Kent Melton, had the look of what a 5 year old might show to a parent on Parent Teacher night.

Needless to say, it was a very pathetic attempt.

Keep trying, you'll get it.

Ditto all folks, just keep palying with it, keeping trying and you'll be able to do an awesome sculpt before you know it.

I scrapped my first sculpt, tossed it in trash without mercy, so you know how bad that was.

Nobody's work is perfect. Sculptors who have been working for years don't think their stuff is perfect. There's alway something new to try. The day you produce a pefect piece is the day you should stop sculpting because there's nothing more to learn. And what fun is that?

Yeah, thanks everyone. I am working on torsos right now and they just seem to be either two big or two small...they just look off. I am planning on starting w. armless busts and expanding from their.

I will work on limbs later. Baby steps, but annoying as heck!
