Why didn't this statue catch on more?

I'm statring to see this statue all over the 'bay for $99 and I'm really shocked! I got a pretty good deal on mine as well - but I can't believe this statue isn't more sought after! Does anyone have a guess on why? This is one of my favorites!

I think it's a great recreation of the cover. I've been tempted by more than one of the statues in this series.

I think there is a single seller that appears to have a decent stock of these and maybe he got them at a good price due to MR losing the Marvel license so he could be blowing them out.

It is not the Hulk most casual fans are familiar with which may cause it to suffer ... it is a must have fan for diehard Hulk fans

I own it and I'm not a huge Hulk fan. But this is one of the coolest statues out there.

Wait... you yawn everytime you see it?

I have no idea if that is a joke or not - but the fact that you mentioned yawning - made me yawn.

It looks EXACTLY like the cover to #1! I can see what people are saying when they mention it doesn't look like the Hulk - but aside from that - there's a 5 o'clock shadow on Banner! He's wearing a watch even though you can't see it! It is absolutely the best looking sculpt I have ever seen!

I imagine the line only having two pieces produced before being canceled killed a lot of interest. They look incredible, but people need to know they exist before they can become popular.
