Wow, Issue 1 wasn't what I was expecting. It's actually social commentary on gender discrimination and workplace harassment. I liked it.

I just finished the 1st issue & was really surprised as to how good it was. I really enjoyed it. Adriana Melo's art is pretty solid throughout the book with several pages & panels really standing out while others seem soft. The book, so far, is a history of the Furies. Totally fun with some interesting insight on the formation & leadership. Barda shines, of coarse! I picked up her variant cover. -

I always liked 4th world of Kirby. Granny Goodness...

She's one of my favorite New Gods. There was a parademon in villains united or something and he had some fond memories of Granny's training... The torture moments, Granny was electrocuting him and he was like ''MORE GRANNY MORE'' lol that's when i first encounter Granny Goodness, and i knew at that moment that this chuby sadistic old lady would be one of my favorites.

I loved her in Superman animated series as well, that's where all my 4th world love comes from. I really loved New Gods in Superman TAS. Especially Darkseid, Metron and Granny Goodness.

These all mean, yeah, i will get this series as HC.
