Help with repairing a small crack...

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice as to what I should use to seal a tiny crack with that is holding the hairpiece to my AH! Lara Croft PF. It's so small and not the greatest pic but it will give you guys an idea.

I'm sure it wasn't sculpted that way and was attached during the process so I'm just wondering what to use to seal the cracked paint area without hurting the piece. I honestly don't even know if it is a crack or just where it was painted over after being attached and the paint is just cracking. Thanks in advance!!

Cannot really make it out. How do you know it's a crack and not a scribed mark?

Well, I'm not a professional so don't take my advise if you don't feel comfortable with it.
In similar cases I have used transparent super glue in very small amounts. Be extremely careful, you don't want to spill it all over and create a sloppy mess.
Then after it dries up, apply a small amount of high quality acrylic paint on top of the affected area with a small paint brush, but be very gentle with it, you don't want it to show a different coloration on the statue.
You can always find good matching paint at a handcrafts store or even at any Walmart. to make sure you have the correct color, you should carry a picture of the statue ( I would use my phone), to compare the colors. Just don't forget, paint tends to get lighter after it dries up, so you might need a second coat.
I have used this inexpensive technique many times before and I have no complaints. You will be able to fill the gap with the glue and cover the area with the paint, to make it almost invisible to the naked eye. I am sure sculptors and painters on the site would give you a more professional advise or maybe offer their service, but that might cost you a pretty penny. Good luck!!
