Any update as to which way XM is leaning on the paint color?

With STGCC coming up quick, I'm going to have to see which PO is a MUST -- Storm or Dark Phoenix.

And I'm not going to lie, paint does make a difference for me which way I'm going.

What if they are both painted to your standards?

As for the color...no one knows what XM has gone with for the color scheme.

Storm is there AND painted - the suit is white. Congrats, StormLover, you get another white version.

And ironically, her hair looks more silver/grey than white. Which is totally wrong and I have no idea how XM will justify that color choice.

swap those colors and it would have been grail. Instead, well, I'm not shocked they took the easy way out. Thanks to XM for making my ordering decision for me. I'm out.

Yellow-tinted costume, check
Fluorescent yellow piping, check
Reddish skin, check
8-inch prostitute heels, check

Yep, XM has no clue what this character really looks like.

The yellow is accurate but a little too bright.

I could even get over the white suit, but I have no F'in clue why her hair is GRAY! I mean that is the one king about her that is always white. Stark white against her beautiful skin. It's a total mistake that needs to be changed.

Damn shame bc I really do like the design and how it turned out. Paints killed it for me.

Even her skin tone is wrong. The hair is too tendril-like and why can they make a comic accurate Phoenix and Dark Phoenix but Storm gets stuck with this weird gray ribbing on her torso?

From the two pics I have seen, I can't tell if she is as dark at TChalla. She has always been a lighter tone than him so I would call it wrong if they are the same. But through the years she has been many shades depending on who is coloring.

I can look past her skin tone (which I like), but I can't look past that hair color.

Or the white suit.

Seriously, swap the colors and this statue is grail PO. As is, its a fail. Can't even get her hair color right, XM?! Come the F on.

I have no problem with her skin being lighter than BP, my issue is how red it is. The entirety of the paint job is atrocious (the base looks good).

That vid has odd lighting. I'm waiting for the photo master, Charles (Rising) to start loading up pics. He won't fail us

Seriously though, it's such a tease that the panel of her suit is silver and the rest is off-white.
