First post- a question

Hi all, I found this site through another site and joined to ask the following:

What is the best way to light your collection? I use LED's for most of it, but I'm having trouble finding a good solution for lighting up a couple of Iron Man full size helmets from the inside- any suggestions?

TIA.

Post some pictures JimfromNY of the collection so that everyone can give you some feedback on how to go about installing the lighting in your cabinet(s).

OK.

Well, I'd like to have some gentle lighting for the comics I'm displaying:

I'd like to be able to light this helmet from inside:

Also the helmet in this pic:

The ones in the case are LED touch lights that swivel but they really only light the first two shelves- I need something better for that one.

Thanks for any suggestions

Never mind the suggestions! That collection is awesome!
My only suggestion at this point is to send your collection this way!

lol, thanks for the compliment

I discovered tonight that the batteries in my swiveling LED lights get used up real quick- gonna have to go for a wired solution.

Iron Man fan!

Welcome to SF!!

How to light them from the inside??

I would just use a push up light or maybe something else. Let me look into this!

People seem to really like/use the Dioder lights from Ikea.
