Yeah, I definitely like the Minimates- my wife got me some for my birthday and I went out and got some more. Only thing keeping me from getting a bunch more is that they fall over and I have had no luck in getting any info on stands for them. I made a few, but if I'm gonna get a bunch of these I don't want to waste time making stands, lol.

Most minimates have peg holes on the bottom that were designed to match up with legos.
