Did not see the post about blades on FB yet.

But yes i believe mr Matsumoto is the big boss himself.
Like i said he is personally replying on many of the 'semi negative' post made on FB.
Good from him. You can (try) debate back, but doesn't look to me he is there to fully understand other point of view.

Cheers to him, I've never even seen this image. Curious where he got it from.

Hey Australia guys that have this in hand...you guys gonna give this a try? Johnny Matsumoto says it should work.

Johnny Matsumoto...what a cool name. I think Johnny Matsumoto should join SF to participate in this discussion. The FB discussion is child's play compared to this thread with almost 5000 posts and almost 700,000 views

Preach. Amazes me how many collectors think polystone's heavy weight makes it more valuable when that weight is actually the result of additives that -- here's the kicker -- make it cheaper and more brittle.
Resin, fine. Plastic, fine. Polystone? The greatest marketing trick ever played on the community. People's obsession with statue weight is likely a carryover from the statues of old, but what we have today is far from marble or bronze.

yep. throws off the feng shui of the piece for me.

it just feels out of balance and throws the symmetry

It's not all about heavy is better when it comes to polystone but...
You get a large polystone statue that is very light then you know it is cast like an eggshell which makes it even more susceptible to breaks.
