Unbelievable Tomy Studio Scale Diecast Enterprise
If this subject already has a thread, I apologize. This original series Enterprise looks fantastic, and the price ($599.00) is phenomenal. Dicast construction, illuminated nacelles, an open shuttle bay. I've never purchased a Tomy product before, so this may be my first. For the money, it almost seems a little to good to be true. Anyone have experience with this company?

For the real fans, I can imagine this is awesome. But it is a crowdfunding and target only at 21% with 11days left.
"Paramount and TOMY are proud to offer this limited edition die-cast replica of the Enterprise from the original 1966 Star Trek series!"
Very nice and pretty big. I don't know but this model is not often produced (i think).

If they deliver that quality, it would be a steal at that price
Unfortunately doesn't look like this one will go ahead, I was sceptical of the quality from the start as it seems too good to be true

Man if they did something like that for the Serenity I'd be so hyped.

I'm surprised it's not getting enough attention. I thought it might have something to do with the companies reputation, but I haven't found anything bad. That's a lot of ship for $599.00. Master Replicas are going for thousands on the secondary market.

I've been watching this since day 1, and I'm so tempted. But the reality is it probably won't get fully funded, it's A LOT of money to pay up front and to have faith in the final release being the actual product that's being promoted here, and it's just too expensive for what it is. If it was anywhere near $200-$300, then I would. But $600? yikes...

Probably a lot of fans haven't heard of this. Also they want 5,000 orders that is quite a lot. There aren't 5,000 people looking for MR stuff :P
