Regal Robot: Custom Life-Size Chewbacca Statue

Looks amazing, as it should for $17K

https://regalrobot.com/shop/star-war...wbacca-statue/

This 7′ 6″ tall Chewbacca? statue as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope? and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back? is a towering presence, made to accurately recreate the character?s height. Our team of FX artists developed the life-sized figure with access to an original production-made face and teeth castings, along with hands-on examination of the original costume, mask and hair used in the original trilogy films.

It’s a pity that they only ship locally….

This is too rich for my blood, but the bust was real tempting.

Yeah, I was so tempted by this. Especially the version with his bowcaster.

Just too expensive. Maybe if I can find one 50 percent off!

I wonder how much it would’ve cost if it were made in China, at the same standard?

My guess is it would cost half if made in China…

Maybe a reasonable comparison, in terms of complexity, would be Queen Studios 1:1 statue of HL Joker - if I'm not mistaken, isn't that around $10k?

Considering the hair work on this, and therefore adding a few $1000 more, I'd assume a China made version would only end up being $3k - $4k cheaper (after shipping and taxes) - still a considerable saving.

Wow, I missed that version, the bowcaster adds $3K It better fire actual bolts for that price.

Yeah, I kicked around selling a bunch of stuff and just down sizing to one big MAJOR character like this…might have done it for $10k…but even I can’t justify $20k! LOL
