When collecting becomes hoarding.

I have a designated area in my basement and if it fills then I have decisions to make about what to keep.

I've seen hoarders and it scares me a little bit. Always do routine cleaning and big clean once a year to avoid the possibility of any possessions getting away.

There is someone who works at my LCBS who instead of posting any of the artwork or posters that he has acquired over the past 4 decades he enlarge comic book covers and print them off on separate pieces of paper (equalling anywhere from 9 to 16 pieces of paper) and display those. I have always asked him why will he not display them and he said the light will damage them. I said do not open your blinds or curtains but he says that even light from lamps will damage them. So he stores everything in his closets or storage areas undisplayed.

To me, this exhibits the behavior of a hoarder.
