Sydney supanova 2014 was my second worst con experience
It was a successful con for those around me so I'm happy for them
The company was great to surround the misery lol

Close second to the infamous Armageddon debacle of 2013?

That con was the worst con in the history of ever. Actually, it wasnt a con, it was a gathering of like minded people.

And Brent Anderson.

lol there has only been 1 fun Armageddon for me so far and that was 2011. Was great to meet Darick Robertson...

The biggest issue with them is they aren't willing to seek help regarding fandoms they know nothing about i.e. comics...

Was that 2010? I think it was because my flight home from NYCC was delayed by three days and I missed it!

But yep, you're totally right mate, they seem to almost hold contempt for the very industry that started the entire convention scene

That was certainly a pretty bad con in terms of getting comic art, although I was lucky to come away with some nice pieces from Australian artists. And some of the media guests helped make up for it too.

Believe it or not, after months of following up with Brent Anderson, my Etrigan piece is finally on its way!
