Okay, I gave up. I got my replacement body after a close examination, the clothing had some paint smudge on it. The factory must have put on the clothing before the paint is completely dried. I sent a few pictures to SS and I am requesting for a refund....it's not worth the headache. Even if I kept this, I don't want to run into problems a few months or years down the road. This really sucks.

I had to go online and print off a form for VAT reclamation. I filled in the form and then sent it in with my Fedex VAT invoice and the email from Sideshow confirming that they were refunding me and they paid the refund directly into my bank.

You will lose the Fedex VAT processing charge though (which was about £10 for me).

I should be able to get some of these super cheap later on the secondary market. I'd like to get a couple for some customs.

Just opened mine back up today and all paint applications were good to go...

Just let it stay out of the box for some time, mine have been ok until like 2 weeks ago and then I saw the cracks, I was checking it on a monthly basis...

my replacement arrived a day earlier then expected which was nice
too bad my excitement didn't last long... literally nothing is good with the replacement! oh wait, now I'm lying, the sash and belt were okay...
