OMG Magneto was my first statue to exceed the $100 mark ($125 I think), Batwoman was close to the mark $95. Those shipping costs are becoming totally crazy... and unfortunately they are included for the calculation of customs charges... it's lose and lose again

Shipping cost should not be included in custom cost, unless your country's custom rules require it. I had that happened to a few of my shipments and complained to FedEx about it and it was corrected. However, I did not request Canada customs for an adjustment to my custom fees to the ones erroneously charged.

In France, everything is included (price of the item+shipping+assurance) for the calculation of the VAT (20%) AND the custom fees and we also have to add approximately 15€ for the shipping company's processing costs.

Yes. But it seems that's a kind of lottery.
I paid 50 € for Lady Deadpool, and 120 € for Red Sonja.
And Red Sonja is 100$ cheaper.

I think this rule is similar in whole European Union.
