They both could be so much better, the blade could be so cool especially with what can be done with digitally now. I would have loved to see something like this
The whole statue comes across as uninspired as a whole to me especially when you compare it to x-23 or rogue. The body looks great, love the pose (even if it is similar to the first) - the base and new portrait look rushed, SS is capable of so much more

Yeah, they would have had an instant buy from me with the original portrait, and a base that was cohesive with the rest of the pieces (Sentinel, Danger Room, etc). Literally two things, and they couldn't even do that much.

I really like the old portrait and wish Sideshow would consider a variant using that head sculpt such as an X-Force piece or other. Do it.
I get the hate for the new head sculpt...
And it's warranted in my opinion just for the sole reason that they gave us all a curve ball on a much anticipated piece.
Sideshow should really take a look at how XM treats their customer base. They inspire me to buy even more from them.
With all that said, I am definitely buying this Psylocke! I like the new head and need a Psylocke in my collection big time! I wouldn't be surprised that even after all the hate this piece sells well. This piece is sexy. And sexy sells. Just my humble opinion.

IMO not a single pic of the new head reveals it to be better than the old one.
Tsk tsk Sideshow.

The price is a joke esp with the new portrait lol such an easy pass. I think I am only going to pick up X-23 and rogue if the production piece turnout alright

You know what would look great with SS Rogue is XM Iceman as they both have the Danger Room base..

If i'm honest, at $600 i would have passed on the previous portrait anyhow
Psylocke PF is such a basic piece. It'll be available for $300 further down the line.

Now that I've seen more pics of the new portrait, I know what bothers me most about it.
Its her eyes ...SSC made her eyes unusually slanted. If SSC had toned down that slant on her eyes, it would've been more appealing.
As it is right now, tho ....I'm not sure if I want to buy it.
SSC should never have replaced the original portrait. And that price SSC is asking for is ridiculous!

I would've bought the original at 600$ in a heartbeat.

Kind of glad most of these haven't appealed to me....those prices, lol.
I never realized how small the bases were until that group photo.
I actually love small bases, but It does make me wonder why these are so high priced.
Down to just X-23 Now, but I have a feeling they are really going to slap a high price on her, due to the popularity of the piece, or give her the maquette label.
