The more I see this, the more I want it. I know nothing about the character but this statue has prompted me to find out more.

He is one of my favourite characters. Look at the Platt and Finch art for him, it's the best stuff. He's basically an Olympic boxer who thinks he's the embodiment of an Egyptian god. He has 3 personalities that he helps to gather information on crime. Some stories have him powered up by the phases of the moon. Some stories have his costume made of adamantium and it functions like an Iron Man type suit.
Some people mistakenly compare him to Batman but there are actually very few similarities.

Awesome! Genuinely thank you for the tips and little bit of info, it intrigues me even more! Will check out that art right now.

David Finch is one of my favourite artists right now. Platt... well he has had his ups and downs but I like his lines and the work he puts into it.

In that Huston run with Finch art, Taskmaster fights Moon Knight, easily taking MK down. MK perseveres and Taskmaster eventually falls because he copies MK who takes hits instead of blocking them... To me, that is cool.
