A question for all of you based on the above picture.

Why ALL of LBS statues look better unpainted than painted? It is like night and day. Unpainted they are still mediocre, but bearable. Painted they look like big Bowens. Check the picture above. Unpainted pieces are still mediocre to bad pieces. Nevertheless, the 2 painted ones (Superman and Batman) look like big Bowens, like BIG TOYS.

I wrote this a year back... that in order to order a LBS piece, you should see it painted and then press PO or not.

So, whoever gives the correct answer, gets a free pass into "Forps art(s)y eye team".

The floating on its own isn't bad IMO, but making the base taller than the others, and him taller than everyone else, AND then the cape even taller than his head, is the problem.

Good points. I guess we?ll have to wait and see what it actually looks like once it?s printed and displayed next to the others. I thought he might have said this render hadn?t been approved yet during the stream last night, but I could be wrong.

I still haven’t decided if I’m getting more past Superman and Batman, but I would like Green Lantern.
