Roswell Japan 1/5 full size Alien Statue by Yoshihiko Sano

Well, it's coming. No price and release date just yet. Like the bust. A special edition and normal edition will be offered. BUT it's limited at 30 pcs only(not sure if it's for each version or combined, will email them and find out soon)! I'll probably grab a model kit version.

"Now we are waiting the permission, once receive a green light from licenser, we will release details about all information ASAP.

We have 2 kinds of sculpture. Normal type and special type. The special has individually-numbered limited only first edition.

The resin kit will launch initial sales in low lot !

It is likely that there are a bit differences between website photos and the actual kits. We hope you will understand the situation.

YOU WILL LIKE IT !!!

Thank you for your great support.

Roswell Japan"

Read some of the comments on Roswell Japan's blog. Like us, the Japanese collectors are freaking out and asking for the release date and pricings.

Now that is an Alien statue! I really like the base design on this one, simple yet effective.

I think, I need this one. Why do they have to make them so damn limited and so damn expensive? I bet this one will cost 1000 too.

Just got this from the good folks at Roswell Japan. Looks like there will be a total of 3 versions. The good thing is, this time the editions are much friendlier if comparing with the first release. Really interested to see what the "Special Limited Edition" looks like.

"1/5 ALIEN 2nd Ver.

1.Special Ver. limited edition
We will provide a limited number of 30 with individually-numbered and Sano's
signature.

2. Special Ver.
We will provide almost 200.
No individually-numbered and Sano's signature.

3. Normal Ver.
We will provide almost 200.
No individually-numbered and Sano's signature, too.
Black-themed model.

Sorry, all the price have not yet been decided."

I'd email Roswell Japan directly for the 1st version. I wouldn't worry about the rest of the versions as I'm sure they will be available to order via other etailers like HobbySearch.com as the edition size is higher this time around. But you never know. Lots of these has already been reserved in Japan. Just keep an eye on this you REALLY want one. Even the Normal version, which is equally beautiful.

Now all we need to know is when and how much.

Roswell Japan confirmed that the height of the piece is at around 19"(48.7 cm) with the base.
