I think he was trying to have her resemble a tree. I can see why they did it, but I don't think it is quite as successful as it could be.
I will wait til I see the statue. I didn't like the Harley art either, but really love the sculpture. I think the same will happen with Ivy.
Probably Wonder Woman too.

I can definitely see the tree concept with Ivy. Her legs are pretty much rooted to the ground. If Yamato keeps that aspect in place then I think their Ivy piece can be quite unique.

they are quite adept at working with the translucency of Resin and if they do the feet melding with the foliage well, I think this will look fantastic. minus the leaves on her face (she's not the swamp thing after all).

I love it the sculpt. the face definitely is better. the art kinda had that i just queef'd look.
