JMW Photography

Well I finally had the opportunity to begin getting to know my new camera. Was on vacation in Arizona and ended up with 600 some images. It will take me a while to sort through them all. Here are a couple to start with. Picked up a older version of lightroom as well as using GIMP 2 and photoscape.
Still learning how to use all three programs to achieve the desired editing and effects.
Current camera is a Nikon d7000 18-55mm VR Lens and a 55-200mm VR Lens. I will be using this camera for all photography now as I sold my Cannon DSLR.

Plenty more photos to come and I feel I have some really superb shots for a newbie photographer. Will be updating as I edit. Hope you enjoy the shots. Cheers, J.

Not exactly sure what species of bird this is. It was quite odd looking standing on the ground hunched over. It looked almost like a penguin in the shade and it was as still as a statue till I approached it. It didnt take flight till i was almost on top of it.

I had to stop just a couple pictures down. I just can't look at pictures that have names and big copyright logo's stuck in the middle of them. It just drives me crazy, lol.

If your that worried that someone is going to steal your pictures then use a watermark. They are a million times more secure than logo's as anyone with even 15 minutes of expereince with a cloning tool can wipe logo's from photo's. In fact, there are now programs out there that will basically do it for you. Snapheal from Macphun is a perfect example. It will wipe out logo's with a click of the button.

Yeah i know the feeling. I wasnt worried about people here stealing them but I posted them elsewhere thats the only reason for the stamp. Too much work to host them all separately again since I already ahd the water marked ones up. It is actually a second layer watermark using GIMP it just varies a little as I was working it out. I know its not hard to wipe them off i have done it myself but a small deterrent is better than nothing IMO.
