Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yeah I agree that the gargoyle spidey can be a bit unstable, but the gargoyle is very well sculpted, and I like how dynamic the statue looks. I use blu-tack at the base just to be sure. Got this quite awhile back, but think it's still easily available given its 8888 edition size. Here's some of my pics

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I'll never live it down. I missed the existence of an Ebay auction for $250 (if I recall correctly) a long time ago by a couple of days and have never seen it show up again...

Here's the Attakus classic Spider-Man collection.
Vendors usually sell these for 2/3 to 1/2 lower price.

The Ramos statue is not listed anymore but is
clearly in an awesomely stylized class of its own.

Anyone know what scale the Gargoyle Spider-man is? Does he scale ok with Bowen or 1/6 stuff?

Gargoyle Spider-man...my first statue. Got the Symbiote variant in New York in '99.

I think he is about 1:8 scale. I only have a couple Bowens, and he is just a tad on the small side comparatively (sorry, I have no pictures). Supposedly Bowens are anywhere from 1:6 - 1:8. His compact pose complicates matters, but he fits in ok.

Thanks for the reply buddy!

Maybe just a tad too small especially when paring him up with Koto stuff which is closer to 1/6...

I think the Ramos Spidey was not released in the U.S., I got mine a long time ago and it was a hard one to find.

Ramos spidey was French exclusive I believe. Found 2 on eBay France and bought one of them. Just ask sellers if they will ship for reasonable price. One guy wouldn't the other did. I'm in Canada arrived fast and it was worth money. Around 400.00 Canadian shipped
