Green Room - 7/10

I knew absolutely nothing about this film going in and was pleasantly surprised. This is a pretty slick original horror-thriller about a punk band that takes a gig at the end of a lackluster tour for a questionable group of people in the Oregon backwoods. Great atmosphere, solid tension. I had no idea this was filmed just miles from where I live. Then I recognized a few landmarks, so that was interesting and a bit unsettling.

Beauty & The Beast - 7/10

I love how it was still full of music. In today's animated movies I miss the large amount of musical numbers, so I'm happy they were all still in there!

Hobbit 1 - Unexpected Journey - 7/10
Hobbit 2 - The desolation of Smaug - 7.5/10
Hobbit 3 - Battle of the Five Armies - 6.5/10

First time (finally) seeing these. I liked them, didn't love them, however, part 3 struck me as the weakest of the trilogy. I doubt we'll revisit these films for a long time though... Other than some cool scenes scattered throughout the trilogy, I didn't find myself caring about anyone or any scene in the film save for those which directly or indirectly were linked to LOTR.

Kong 8.0 /10

Nicely done Monster movie, full of thrills. John C Reilly was hilarious in the movie.

Will def watch again.

Logan - 8
Beauty and the Beast - 9
Logan had some filler. Worst part was knowing that a lot of potential was lost in the first two movies.
B&B, my eyes were glued to the screen. Two hours felt like 30 minutes. Amazing cast, beautiful movie. Really set a high bar.
