First picture i posted, you can see the new portrait in full promotion glory (not much reflection).
The left eye is fully there/visible. And they gave the right eye only very small slice. Bcs they wanted to recreate the squinted eye (when he examinus spike trap, bcs everyone wanted that). But when you do that, his eyebrow+cheek should be squinted too.
Now we get full eyesocket with 25_30% lower portion eyeball and no pupil ?!

If they even going to add a pupil to it, whole eye would be one black socket (pirate patch lol)..
Does not make sense or add anything, compared to two normal eyes.
Closed mandables and head tilt would be enough.

Edit:
Straight out of NxtLv3 Showcase vid.

I get what you are saying, conceptually. I'm just not ready to draw any conclusions from these screen captures. Sometimes it doesn't even look like there is ANY right eyeball LOL. I'll wait to complain

I dig the gloss, too. The 1/4 didn't have enough and it made the already underwhelming paint app look flatter. Plus if you look at the new gallery photos, it's not overdone. Only seems to show in certain lighting conditions, just like in the film.

Gloss is good. But fear they will use high gloss on anything and everything.
But yes in Next Level vid it seems much more that in the photo's.

Pupil is there…. At the very bottom. I like it as it looks it’s pulled out of the film

Honestly - if we think the end result is going to look like the samples shown - we're dreaming.

We all know better by now

I'll be happy if they put the head on the right way round.
