As tempted as I am to load up on rogues (and I'm very tempted), I have to be choosy (at some point) or these statues will overrun me (more than they have already). Doc Ock wasn't a villain that imprinted on me back in the day. My vivid memories came from Mysterio, Venom, and Carnage. Still this is a rare statue, a reasonable price, a very impressive number, and an incredible sculpt. Congrats on your buy!

When I looked in Rocky's Vault the price was $400. Is this a reasonable price and is the statue that rare? Not questioning Keith's purchase at all and certainly no one knows better than Keith what these statues go for on the secondary market. It just seemed high but, I'm guessing, really it's not.

It's so cool one can just shop for whichever number he likes (upon availability of such number, of course)
Congrats, Keith!

Reasonable? No. Going price? yes. This is a low edition Bowen statue (600) and they rarely pop up on ebay and every time it has it's sold immediately. last two sold on ebay (1 for $450 and one for "offer accepted" but listing started at $449).

This is true. I've seen broken or repaired pieces still sell for a high price. For me, Doc Ock is a essential Spidey villian that I had to get along with Green Golblin and Venom.
It is off the site now. Did anybody else here pick this up? I think I may have got the last one...

Agreed. He sort of falls into the same category as Mr Sinister (who also goes for $400 to $500+. One of those villains who is essential if you collect the baddies in certain genre.
