Impressive that if you take off the fence and trees you lost half of the charm and grandiosity of this Diorama....

The photos are great! Does the roof or anything come off the Explorer 05 to access the inside for positioning the brochures etc?

From what I see so far, I'm impressed with how well the explorer and people look. I regret not going in on the Explorer.

Only the door opens (in a rather strange unnatural way). In general, the explorer is very large and massive, but additional elements such as mirrors, windows, lamps are very delicate. A huge downside is the lack of a specific place to set it up, you have to get around (and still wobbles slightly)

Thanks for this information. I can see what you mean about it not having a specific place to keep it from moving about. Did the box contain the Explorer only? I’m curious if it came with the small base for the stand-alone version.

T rex 1 box. Base "A" fences, accessories Tim and Lex 2 box. Base "B" and base combining, fencing 3 boxes. Grant, Malcolm and Explorer 4 box.

Ah, ok. Looks like it’ll be a totally separate box for the standalone Explorer then. I wish Iron Studios could have just told me that. I thought the Car 05 box was the car alone with the base; that would have made the most sense instead of a different product.

Thanks for your help Karauak. Lastly, are you happy with it? I know you don’t have it fully set up.

For me, as a JP fan, it's something beautiful. My wife is a bit grumbling that its looks artificial (but she probably means the amount of money I've spent on it). Overall, it's really good, characters in 1/10 scale look ok, preferably Lex and Malcolm. T rex huge, but a bit dark. The rain effect irritates me the most. I will try to display everything and take new pictures today.
