I thought I would start a thread on this statue as I just scored one for a phenominal price on CL last night: $200 all in. I can't believe it myself.
When I first looked at this statue in person, the first thing that came to my mind was "Wow does he look worn and beat up" the weathering on this statue is just absolutely amazing. Phenominal. Fan-dooby-dozy-tastic.
I took so many pics, and none, although some look decent, come close to capturing the excellence Attakus has achieved in this statues paint application.
The paint up on it is by far, more impressive than the character and sculpt job itself. As a sculpt, it is great: don't get me wrong- but it is a far second in comparson -and that says alot as this is by no means a poorly sculpted or scaled piece.
If you want just one Attakus trooper in your collection, this my friends is the one to get. No question about it. Just amazing.
I would like to hear others opinions, and also see other members pics of this fine piece!
