I have the Aang statue. Got it for $36 and some change from DeepDiscount.com
Here are the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- Dynamic Pose
- Good to Very Good Paint Paint Apps
- Sturdy base. Does not feel cheap.
- No small brittle pieces that may break off
- Good scale (Probably 1:6 or 1:7)
- On model with series
CONS
- Skin is a bit darker from prototype shots
- Flat paint apps on flesh (no tones showing muscles)
- Facial expression is a little lifeless
- A bit of yellowing already apparent on parts of the “air blasts”
- The staff is not sculpted into hand. It is packaged with a band to hold in place. If removed, the staff can be moved side to side as desired but not so loose as to slide on its own.
Summary:
It’s a fantastic statue for the price that I intend on displaying alongside my Avatar Bluray/DVDs and Art books/comics. The small footprint and price point allows me to be open to buying the whole set. If you can find it a decent price at EE or BBTS, grab it. I can see it shooting up in price because of relative rarity. I remember buying the Dark Horse Aang statue for around $50 and it lists for $600-$750 on eBay.
Bonus: It scales great with the Zwyer Korra Statue. Not to mention, they look perfect side by side performing their bending in their native culture.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, much appreciated! Looks like I can still get Aang for $45 on EE... he's $60 now on DeepDiscounts.

Have Aang, Katara and Zuko on order... Aang is late because of the EU distributor, Katara should be shipped by Amazon.com by the 16th. Can't wait to see Toph. I'd also like Sokka to complete the team, but I fear that would be one very boring statue, compared to the others. Maybe a figure of him and Suki together? I'd also love an Azula in this style!

Will there be a Toph Gallery statue to complete the elements?

We'll see! I don't think her action figure did great. Hopefully we get to Sokka.
