I completely geeked out over GotG and all the cameos. I spent a good portion of the movie providing background to the rest of the family.
The Cap movies are my favorites of the Marvel lineup. Taking the action/espionage angle rather than a standard superhero angle works. They really knocked those out of the park.

You really waited this long to see these for the first time? Impressive.

I've got three kids under 6 years of age, so I never get out to the theater anymore. I completely forgot about these DVD releases until recently.
So it's not patience, it's just a combination of biology and bad memory.

The Birdcage - 8/10
- Still quite funny
The Hulk (first film with Eric Bana) - 2/10
- Easily the worst of the Marvel films. Abysmal mess of a film.
The Hulk could not look more fake. Completely took us out of the film.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Clash of the Titans(1981) - 9/10
Classic flick! No matter how good modern cgi and special fx get, I'll always love old school practical fx. And Ray Harryhausen's stop motion animation is just awesome.

Nothing wrong with that. I still remember when our daughter was little. We hardly had time for anything. Well, At least you were able to finally watch them. They certainly are some of the best Marvel films produced up to date.

So glad my parents lived close by for babysitting when our kids were young and so glad we live close to our kids so we can watch our grandkids.

I guess you could call it a privilege , that I oversaw the proceedings of him with my colleague, after he passed, as he died in the hospital I was working at, as did his wife. I was working in the mortuary at the time.

I love how vast film opinions can be. One persons trash is another's treasure. I barely made it through the film when I watched it, but felt I had to because of all the amazing ratings
