Resident evil 4, and Umbrella chronicles.
Okay folks, RE4 for the wii is coming out in a couple weeks which is a port of the PS2 game. It should be about the same as the regular game cube version with some added perks.
What I saw today in the new Nintendo Power magazine for the new Umbrella Chronicles, is a fricking joke.
Now I liked the re-do on the first resident evil, because they did a FANTASTIC job on the graphics, and making the game look like you were playing through a cutscene, instead of the standard game.
THIS NEW VERSION IS NOT ANYWHERE AS GOOD GRAPHICS WISE. It's not only polygon-riddled, but... It's a first person RAIL Shoother. Think, House Of The Dead. No interactivity like RE4, WHICH IS WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE CREATED FOR THE WII!!!!
Is the Wii better than the gamecube? I'm beginning to think not, because in all honesty I have yet to see a game from the wii, that looks anywhere near as good as RE4 for the Wii.
I'm passing on both of these games, because to be honest, I can't see buying another copy of RE4, or a half-assed retread of the first Resident Evil.
