Horrorfind Weekend in MD

Horrorfind's a great little horror convention in Adelphi, Maryland (between Baltimore and DC). March 28-30. Looks like there's going to be a Romero, every Dead movie reunion at this show.
Not a giant, but if you're in the neighborhood, worth your while. I always score something cool on the dealer's floor.

Too bad I didn't know earlier, sounds like something up my alley. I might have made my way down there. I had a potential trip to the area anyway.

It's a 2X's a year show. Late August too. I always meet a lot of great B stars and get a lotta fun stuff for the man-cave. Worth it if you're in the neighborhood. Romero's been there every time I've gone. Lats Summer, Malcolm Mcdowell year before that Bruce Cambell always a solid list of Movie Monsters; Pinhead and other Hellblazer demons, Hotties from various movies, Munsters and other TV funsters. Some great artists: Basil Gogos, Daniell Horne. Lots of C list filmmakers. Haunters, horror-writers, autograph dealers...I could go on. I've always had a lotta fun. Never too crowded. The longest I've waited to meet anybody was no more than a half hour.

Horrorfind Weekend is coming up. August 15 - 17th. It's in Maryland, close to DC and Baltimore. If any of you are into horror, sci-fi and a great dealer's room, come check it out.
I always find something cool here. Great stuff for yard decorators.

The Dealer's room is huge. Tom Savini sets up there. A couple of big signed 8x10, poster, and index-card autograph tables. I collect 1950's and 60's entertainer autos. and always find some good ones.
Lots of horror toy tables, the guys from Living Dead Dolls have a table, tons of dvd tables where you can find anything, Halloween decorator tables, small-houuse-horror-movie-production tables selling their own movies, cool b-movie stars that don't make the autograph room have tables, Daniel Horne has a table, Basil Gogos is sometimes there w/ a table, one guy sells beautiful 40,50,60, and 70's movie posters, Lion's Gate is always there, tee-shirts, horror make-up, tons of goth crap, and more.

You can easily drop a couple hundred, no problem so be careful.

I usually go on Sunday a.m., Everyone's still there but it's only a $20 ticket and deals can be made on stuff. It's a fun show.

Moving it to Gettysburg this year, but I'll make the drive. The guest list is pretty damn impressive this time out.
