Skottie Young Marvel Statues

Needless to say better bases! I don’t care much of the card which is not even the Skottie Young drawing but a simple picture of the statue. I don’t know why they made this move.

I have bought every piece in this line except squirrel girl. These re releases had better be significantly smaller or I'm going to be very irritated. I like the personalized bases on these new ones but not enough I'm going to buy them again. The originals are still readily available too. If these are the blind box mini figure type thing it wouldn't bother me. Guess I'll wait for more info before making a judgement.

They're made out of PVC as well.

I guess they're not straight up re-releases like I initially thought, but this kinda thing still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

These are part of the new Gentle Giant Toys lineup. Not as high quality...may or may not be smaller...more affordable.

I do like the bases better however I wouldn't want them to start randomly adding bases to new releases in the main line.

It'll depend on the size and paint application but there is a chance these will look better on the shelf than the one's we've been collecting.

These are probably 1/2 the size of the existing Skottie Young statues. At least that's the impression I get looking at that sneak.

Same sentiments. The one with the environment base is the stand-alone Rocket Racoon. I don’t like the idea of repeating something and the 2nd rendition is better than the first one.

The PVC ones are for sale on BBTS at $12.99. Still no real indication on the size. I'm not ordering. May even pass on the future polystone ones.
