No, request exchanges/refunds from the actual seller first.

Good to know, thank you sir. Hopefully bbts doesn't balk when I called them up and say the paint is sloppy and I want an exchange (well, hopefully I don't have to make that call at all!)

BBTS has gotten a bit stricter over the last few years, I tried to return a statue because the paint was poorly done and they would only accept it if I paid for return shipping and restocking fee.
The only time I've had no issues with returns with BBTS was when a statue was actually broken, then they paid for the returning shipping and sent me another one free of charge..
Since this statue seems to have issues you might want to cancel your order from BBTS and order it from SS, they're a bit more friendly about statue returns when it comes to paint issues...
Anyways that's just based on my personal experiences..

Thank you for that, I may pull my preorders at bbts. I have not yet done my first statue from Sideshow, so I'm completely new to them (first is on preorder though). Any idea if they would ship a 1/6 scale tweeterhead figure in an external box for extra protection, or do they just ship it in its own tweeterhead box? I do love that bbts packs everything I've ever gotten from them and a nice big box with plenty of bubble wrap!

SS just slaps a shipping label on the Tweeterhead shipper.
Entertainment Earth and Alter Ego are two I know of that use double boxing.

I’m hoping that Starfire goes to the Joker/Harley/Hyenas factory. This gem needs to be perfect.

Chad said the factory that did the Superman statue also did the Joker statue.. so you can't even trust the same factory... I think it was just a lack of oversight on Tweerheads part, they didn't have people QC'ing stuff properly at the factory and sloppy work got out..

Ahhh I didn’t see that. What a drop in quality. Or maybe it’s because Supes had a cleaner, sleeker look so blemishes are more easily spotted. Still the cape is wonky and he shouldn’t have paint splots on his face.

Chad seems to love everything about the Starfire piece. I suspect he’ll be looking for perfection.
