Worse case senerio I personally plan on doing this if height bothers me when Akuma in hands carve out a circle wood base paint it black and put it under Ryus base to add some extra height. No one will be able to tell difference.

I there is a misunderstanding here. The scale is perfect, because Akuma has 178 cm and Ryu 175 cm and more, Ryu is leaning and Akuma standing. The problem is the base, but this wont change as Eric explained that they have had problems with Ryu´s peg and this base format gonna be used now on. I will do the same, just buy a beer rest and paint in black guys, come on, we have nothing to complain about this cost x benefit.

Well, if the producer himself is saying that there will be a slight adjustment in scale, I'm inclined to believe him..

This is not a matter of who do you believe or not. This adjustment was just, once more, Eric and his crew doing their best to please us all. The way of looking to this is by using mathmatic. The statue is 1/6, therefore you pick the actual character height up and divide by 6 - 175 / 6 = 29cm, Prototypez´s statue has 28, but once more, he is leaning foward.

amloprinzi I received the email for the Akuma PO on 9/8. I thought I read those who PO'd Ryu would have priority to PO Akuma, how does this work is there an earlier PO date?
