I would add a rope. There is no building close enough for him to be leaping in that direction and the rope won't distract from the great art.

I have to agree. He's already in the sky anyway. Anything you add might appear like a distraction to the stunning artwork. There's no real need to make corrections. If anyone asks, just say he has a batchute on his back.
Really, it's beautiful as is.

It's freakin' gorgeous! And I agree to leave it alone - but if anything - add a rope!

I appreciate everyone's help. I'm going to leave it as is. No sense in messing up a thing of beauty. Once I get the final high res scan, I'll post here. Thanks once again.

Wow those are awesome pieces. A person can really get lost in all that detail.

Ok... so much for leaving it as is. I just got an e-mail from Ryan saying "I got it to work, I added in rope and an animated style grappling gun, the rope has been released from the gun giving it a feel that he launched his way up there. I think it worked out nice and now makes sense." Now I need to wait for the scan... oh, the anticipation !

So here is the final piece. The grappling gun has been added. It looks like Batman hit the peak of his swing, released the cable from the gun and is now coming down. I still love it. Ryan said he's going to get these colored and create some prints from them. When that happens, I'll post the colored pieces.

That looks fantastic. I really wanted to get a commission from Bode at last year's Heroes Con but had to leave before I could. I just saw that he'll be there again this year.
