Thanks! Its base even lights up. It didn't come with the batteries needed, unfortunately. Once I have them I may post another picture with her lit, hopefully at a better angle and with better lighting than the other one.
The Wo (first character) is really impressive with person. Her base looks like waves in the sea and they have this gloss wash on the black parts of her body to create this slimy effect, while the headpiece (basically the actual sentient being) has this almost choppy paint job done on purpose to give it this gritty and grotesque style. This contrasts great with her human head, which is a typical anime style.

Have no idea the series Wo is from, but was unable to get HL headcrabs out of my mind after seeing her.

That Wo is great looking gyro. Do you know if they've released much from this line or is she the first? Kantai collection is awesome - didn't know these were out. Will have to try find one.

They have two more Abyssals announced and have already done Musashi and Shimakaze. Kantai Collection is indeed awesome.

That's amazing news - will need to hunt them down if I can. Glad I haven't missed Takao & Atago yet. Saw bandai had a line but I'd rather invest in a consistent scale pvc.
Thanks for all the info on this. Did you get musashi?

You dodged a bullet with Bandai as their Kantai Collection figures are absolutely awful from what I hear. I would expect no better from Bandai though.
Musashi hasn't come out yet. I put my order for the exclusive version, which comes with all her armaments. They're also releasing Shigure. I'm glad every major company is pulling out at least a few Kancolle figures. The designs are great.

Sigui in all her naughty glory. She came with nipple covers, but short of gluing them on, I am baffled by how they attach.
