Just broke it out, and it's spectacular. DCD needs to employ decent photographers, because I haven't seen a single promo shot of this that looks anywhere near as good as the actual produced piece.
Pros:
Figure's pose and proportions are excellent (right up there with Harley)
Costume is the best tailored that DCD has produced to date, with not a pucker or bulging seam in sight.
Cape is fully poseable from the neck to each "batwing point." Cape material is outstanding - quality vinyl that has the right heft and texture.
Cons:
Base is well sculpted, but is taller than it needs to be. The fractured masonry is great, but the bricks and wood chips are a bit much for my taste.
Headsculpt needs a little more height in the cranium. This is a minor point but deserves to be mentioned.
The points on the bottom of the cape are rounded, not truly pointed.
Monday is shaping up to be a stress-fest, so I'll probably be posting photos on Tuesday. This piece is going to be shot with the equipment and lighting that it should have from the get-go.

One thing that's slightly annoying about the new Batman statue is that on the box it shows the Harley Quinn museum as 'also available'. Clearly it isn't as I've been trying to get one for some time and they're uncommon even on eBay. It's not like they've re-released it as the DC shop doesn't have any, so I think this is fairly misleading of them to say this. Normally they only print pictures of very recent items they still have in stock don't they?
