Rurouni Kenshin 1:4 Statue 122/200 - Hunter Studio
Finally!! I've been wanting a Kenshin statue that represented his hitokiri battousai version from the OVA and this came close so I had to order it!
Granted his robe color is similar to the series and not in the darker blue/purple of the OVA and his face is sort of halfway between the OVA style and the series style when he's serious but it works for me and there's really no option aside from that one kit that costs a fortune.
The execution is very well done. I like the snowy base since it reminds me of the OVA and the flowing stream is a nice touch. The scar is nicely sculpted, so is his kimono and the hair flows nicely.
All in all super glad to finally have him in statue form to replace my tiny PVC figure!
The face could be more accurate as well. Easy pass.
