Got my replacement console back (a day later than I expected). No problems yet, but to be honest, I haven't really played with it all that much yet.

My two biggest gripes are that I now have to re-download all of my arcade games so my wife can play them, too and my God, what a PITA it was to get this one back on my wireless network.

I've had mine for about a year and a half, with no problems. Of course, I've only played it about 25 times, so it might be dead for all I know.

I had mine since LAUNCH, and it finally died/RROD a few months ago. Right when GTA4 came out.

Luckily it was under the extended warranty thing MS added. The replacement has been fine thus far.

what's the next step?
It must have something to do with Soul Caliber, I've had mine since Christmas and after playing some Soul Caliber for a few days I get hit with a red ring of death...

My son got the RRoD a couple of weeks ago. We'd gotten at launch and he plays maybe a little less than average, so I guess it held up okay comparatively since it's been 2 years. Shipped it off to MS for repair. Came back today, hope it's fixed. Anyway the UPS guy said he knows what's in the box because he delivers about 3-4 repairs a week.

Yeah, my son's red-ringed out on him. We called MSFT and they replaced it pretty much right away.
