DCEU Flash Movie
Well, looks like it’s no longer “Flashpoint.” DC films, other than Wonder Woman seem destined for problems. This article even refers to the film’s development as “embattled.”

Just cancel it already. The character was annoying, both in terms of writing and acting.

Well, thank gosh for that. In no way was the DC cinematic U ready to tackle Flashpoint ... & if they were to, at this point, it would have to be a completely watered down version. Agree w/ Gothamite, I still think they should try to somehow roll WB's Flash' Grant Gustin into the film verse. The show may now blow, but he's still a great Flash.

Ezra is nowhere near as bad a flash as jesse freakin eisenburg is a lex luthor, if lex isnt being recast, flash sure isnt being recast

I hope Aquaman is self contained well and get plenty of Mera. Captain Marvel or Shazam could be a nice shift in tone in DC films and Wonder Woman 2 I am very excited about.
I don't know if Cyborg, Green Lantern, or Flash will happen at this point.
I do want New Gods and really hope they do it justice.

I'm all over the place with the DC movies. I didn't even see Justice League until a couple weeks ago thinking I wouldn't like it and I did. More than BvS anyway.
There are a few miscasts to me and Flash is one of them but I'd still like to see it.

Oh so they aren't using this movie as a Magic Eraser to restart I guess. Just blow up the whole thing except for Wonder Woman.

The problem with the DC movies is their stories are just not that good or comprehensive, there all over the place. It's like Snyder and his wife were writing the script as they were filming it... The stories were not well thought out...
The only DC Movie that a had pretty good story was MOS but that can be credited to Nolan and not Snyder..
Wonder Woman is over hyped due to being the first female superhero in awhile and a female director... If you ignore those things the basic story was weak and CGI wasn't good either.
Warner Brothers needs to take over the reigns of DC movies and get some talented writers who actually have a vision for all the movies.

I would compare the first WW to Caps First Avenger in that it was a good introduction. If Jenkins can replicate the Russo’s masterpiece that is Winter Solider I will be more than happy.
