Thankfully the Amazing Spider-Man PF came out when it did a few years ago because I could see them calling that a maquette nowadays due to the pose on it.

Anything with a lean on it and one point of contact seems to be a maquette now even if it isn’t all that complex.

Sideshow has always done cloth. Statues like Gambit are one of the exceptions, not a rule. Why does anybody still get disappointed when SS does what they normally do?

Fingers crossed this won't be the only Doctor revealed during the 12 days.

Watching this closely as I’ve preordered XMs but you never know .....

Yes!!! $850!!! When's the pre order go up? I wanna purchase this right away. I would have spent $950. But it's priced fairly.

It's a "maquette" Why? just so you can overprice it? Yup.

this statue would have been fantastic with a sculpted cape. look at the bowen for gods sake. pass for me.

Agreed, sculpted capes looks awesome. It is great what Prime 1 is doing now, do a sculpted cape version as well. Just makes the statue.... a statue. Gambit turned out great! Love that awesome sculpted coat. It is sad when some posters bash genuine preference for sculpted capes in statues (and especially maquettes) b$%#ing and pretty ironic since it is pretty much the other way around.

Sculpted capes are awesome. I hate posing capes and sculpted just looks better.

Ugh, more cheap looking fabric. Otherwise, it looks good.

I agree, this is a pf in every way. Price expect 800.00-900.00 for 2020 price increases. But looks great! I'm not a big enough fan of the character to pay a grand for it and I tried to stop buying every cool looking statues because of space issues. Got to only buy characters I must have and love these days only.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

People said the same about Thor Breaker of Brinstone and that was super easy to pose!
